The phrase that interested me most in the article was "goverment mandated transistion". It basically implied that some government, state or federal, is mandating a switch to digital. First I have heard of a "mandate". Sure hope they stay away from 800 mhz. I almost read that like they may be a talkgroup on a state system.

I would prob say its nexedge digital and if they remote to KSP hmmm sounds a little strange because KSP is soooo picky about anyone on their system
itll either be UHF or VHF HI because if they went 800 MHZ it would not get too far

Lets hope they test it out before moving all agencies to this new system

Are they motorboating right now or just testing? Hopefully they will keep a non-NXDN freq so other agencies can talk with them.... would be a shame to have a mess on the Interstate and no one communicating!

Would imply to me the mandated "Narrowbanding" process.
