Why is my FCC Username password not the same as my FRN Password even though they are associated? This issue could also have to do with amateur radio. Since I have a GMRS license, I figured I would ask here. Does it take awhile for the FRN password to get updated? These used to be the same password. I had a security leak so I figured I would update the password. I updated the FCC user name password, but I see no way to update the password associated with the FRN. It said:
So, the real question, is does it take some time to update? or is my FRN's password always going to be the old insecure password? Or how do I update my FRN's password to match my username's password?
But the above statement is not true, when I changed my Username's password I still have to use the old password with my FRN. I have two logins saved in my 1password software. One for my FCC username and one for my FCC FRN. With two different passwords. This FRN 9999999999 is already associated to your username. You may continue to access other FCC systems that still require FRN & Password using this FRN and the password for your username.
