Well, I went back to get IP address dynamically from ISP. I set up a port forwarding with the ip address of my laptop and the port is 8086. No luck. I the deleted that port forwarding service and entered a port triggering with the same info. no luck.

If you are on the internal LAN, you likely will not be able to access it via the public internet IP. A lot of routers do not handle loopback well... including Linksys. You, being on the internal LAN, will have to go direct to the 192.168.x.x address of the laptop.
Set forwarding back up, give me your public internet IP via PM if you want, and I'll try to connect to it.
The DNS Address is set to 'Use these DNS Servers" - not set to 'Get Automatically from ISP'. I think this is by default. Should I also change this setting to Get Automatically from ISP?
Well, maybe, just maybe I got it working. Believe it or not it is working on my XV6800 verizon WM 6.1 phone! I'll let you know how the rest works out. Mike and the rest of the guys on here - thanks. I'll be back in a few. Too bad you live in Ohio or I'd buy you a beer.
