Correct, DOC is in the process of changing all of their radios over to use WISCOM. 95% of the vehicles are getting new radios.

Anybody listen to WISCOM on a Uniden portable scanner (396, 436)? How is your reception? What antenna are you using?
Since WISCOM is used more and more (or at least rebroadcasts) I decided to program in my portable. But I'm not having any reception within a house and somewhat limited outside with portable antenna. Of course, good reception on house or auto antenna.
I'm getting the same- quite annoying. I thought WISCOM was for public service/emergency management?I recently started hearing TG40091 off the Langlade County Kent tower site. This appears to be the Menominee Regional Public Transit buses. Also have noticed a new type of antenna installed on their buses.

That's portable talkback coverage - portable reception should be much much better.

I caught 4617 on Baraboo site and 4625 on Blue Mounds sites several times today. I'm not sure who it was but I'm guessing with the 46 prefix that it would be Ozaukee CO related. I heard stuff like "is this supposed to be channel 3" type of chatter.
