I have recently been looking into purchasing a scanner/pager that is capable of tone-outs. I've reviewed previous threads related to this, but I've only found that District 1's tones have been confirmed. Can anyone else confirm Woodbridge Township tones from the link below?

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I am focused on Dist 9, 9 & 11 dual, and all call currently. I appreciate all info that I receive though as I’m planning on have all tone-outs set eventually.

Been looking at this a bit. I have had 478.9125 on autopilot. Surprised no recording.
I used the PL in DB as I was getting co channel in Orange County. The PL is incorrect. On CSQ now making some sense. I always wished Uniden would have an anti-pl whereby you can listen CSQ but enter PL/DPL to be blocked.

I see PL steering underway slaved to different tone pairs. Several combinations including CSQ in use on the paging frequency.

Uniden has offered this feature for probably 20 years or more, going back to at least the XT series. Set Lockout under analog audio type.

Ha, thank-you for taking the time to advise. For all these years I never spun the dial just one more position. Very cool. Display even flashes what is blocked. What a great feature. Very good for me with elevation. I appreciate it. 👏

Note #4,5,6 above. Woodbridge is not only using two tone but also different PL tones with different paging combination. You may get what you want with the unique PL code (s).

I’m not extremely educated. Is there a way to find the specific PLs for each tone set? How do you set them in programming?

I have ran Woodbridge paging for the last week with a bcd996p2 in search mode with no PL tones showing I also run comtekk muti decoder no PL tones showing all tones in CSQ mode. I did confirm that Iselin 11 tones are Freq 478.9125 Tone A 788.0 Tone B 855.2 this was done with a Motorola Minitor VI pager programmed with above freq and tones. As I find more I will update

Two Tone Paging is independent of PL. I would stick with two tone.Setting two tone pairs are done with radio or scanner or pager software. Used Motorola Minitor pager might be an option. YOUTUBE has plenty of content of how to program.

The PL situation is a side note. Paging is considered two tone. Seems like a tone pair always goes for 7 and another pair for the actual District. These are the PL’s I have spotted so far from time to time.

  • Woodbridge Fire Dept. (District 1) - CSQ D7/1
  • Port Reading Fire Co. (District 2) - CSQ D7/2
  • Keasbey Fire Dept. (District 4) - CSQ D7/4/8
  • Avenel Fire Dept. (District 5) - D7/5 206.5
  • Fords Fire Co. (District 7) - 118.8 & D7/5 206.5
  • Hopelawn Engine Co. #1 (District 8) - CSQ D7/8 CSQ

  • Iselin Vol. Fire Co. #1 (District 9)
    • Station 1 - 1222 Green Street
    • Station 2 - 100 West Kelly Street
  • Iselin Chemical Hook & Ladder (District 11)
    • HQ Station - 20 Auth Avenue
    • Substation - 521-525 New Dover Road
  • Colonia Fire Co. (District 12) -

I’m thinking about picking up a Unication G1. Do you believe that two-tone will be picked up and alert fine on CSQ?
