going through some old recordings from this week...caught TG 3935 on 03/28/2012 @ a little after 1400. One person was asking about a truck radio, other person replied that they were in Jefferson Co. A few mins later, someone else was reporting severe weather in Tucker Co.

Tg 6501

Nicolas County fire TG 6501 has been quite active today....

Yes it was probably where a couple depts were out on the large brush fire last night. Bert I like your post about TG 6517 where the eagle has landed. You never know what you will hear when listening! lol Not sure what that one is. Probably a law or fire Tac TG.

Chad I am very well liking Nicholas county doing the IRP alot and I wish Fayette County gets off their butts and start doing the same. It is far a few between even catching one(I got those "special colored lights" for my 106 light up in the feeble attempt to catch one).

Bert I know exactly what you mean. I caught a very short hit (key up) on the Fayette Fire TG but no voice. Three weeks ago I caught Fayette 911 using a 5xxx TG but haven't heard anything since.

Hearing some communications on this TG from the Morgantown tower. Don't see it listed presently in the DB.

- Talking about testing VHF, just said it is up and running.
- Checking Limestone, St Mary's, and Montgomery Hill, the "monitors" are out and "red".
- Med Channel and intercoms to Camden and 911 in Parkersburg, Wood County are up

It says in his header, TG 9996....I suppose that is the one he caught,Mike :)

Yes that would be the one! :)

They were on there around 6/630 pm today but shortly after that I haven't heard anything more. They kept mentioning those three sites, so it must be some interoperable talk group I would imagine. But it sounded like one technician talking to another, no official information concerning anything.

Hey guys I might be able to shine a little light on the 1st transmission listed. I happened to be listening to Barbour Co. last night online and I caught (during the pager tests) that all fireman was to come by the firehouse and pick up their new VHF radios that the VHF system is now "up and running." On the other hand this may have just been a coincendence and have nothing to do with the statement mentioned here. Just thought I would pass that along. Barbour Co. Fire is currently lowband.

73s hope this helps

Chad
