RID 86002 on TG 9771, Berkeley site. IDed himself as West Virgina National Guard for a radio check. Didn't hear anyone answered him.

Starting to pickup a new TG 9944 the last few days. Sorry was not in the room when they talked yesterday. By the time I got to it today I heard several women talking mainly because the signal was weak on one of them. She did say she did not make it to the hospital that she was still 20 miles out. After that talking about the weather. Of course my signal is not as strong today so site 117 is the only one I can get today.
Heard radio testing on TG 1551, RID 90004 at 11:35AM. He was also on TG 9008 right before that; did not hear that traffic.

I think that the two women you heard were Sebie Jenkins (RID 90511) and Paula Clay (RID 90512).

If it follows the pattern, 01551 is almost certainly Jefferson OES/EMA.
RID 90004 = COMM-01 (the IRP chief radio dude).

AFAIK, RIDs 86nnn are WVNG. They are normally on their own TGs (095nn), but are participating in the festivities today, so you'll hear them all over the place.

I know 2 of the 3 I heard names were Paula and Cathy. I know RID I hit was 90512 but I have a few other I did get.

Got a new one today 9209 working the wv inauguration, I,m guessing state police????
09209 = WV DMAPS: WV SP: Troop 0: Executive Protection: F-1. EP is normally on F-2 (09211), which is full-time encrypted. I s'pose they're on F-1 for interoperability during the 'naugurayshion.

I learned that the Threat Prep folks were supposed to start using their "Channel 1" beginning today. I thought that 09948 was Threat Prep F-1. But all the radios that were on this weekend affiliated with 09940 this morning. Maybe 09940 is F-1 for the planners, and 09948 is Threat Prep F-1. Or maybe I had bad info before and 09948 never was F-1 and 09940 is. So YMMV.

I heard them once today talking but not enough to know who there where. I did hear them say a Kanawha County team would come and get them.
I heard that traffic last night right before 7pm. Saying today they would be on Channel 1. I did not have UT running, I got a called from home saying the computer had locked up. Tonight I can't pickup much. My out door antenna is not getting enough and the yagi I use indoor doesnt get it that well.
I heard quite a bit of traffic on 9209 with one guy calling out to others as to their location,worrying about the crowd and seeing that a ambulance would be having difficulty getting in,so I guess they parted whatever was there to let them park. Heard quite a few yes sirs! lol. Also could hear the crowd in the background at times.
About 3:50PM tonight there was traffic on TG 9940 off the Jefferson Site. I recognized one guy's voice as a radio tech. Not really a lot of info from the little traffic.

Hearing encrypted traffic on 9055, I have it has WVSP. Also getting some traffic on 1563. I wasn't able to hear it very well; sounded like it was patched to something analog.
Sounds like 1563 is patched to an analog freq. RID is 0. I think I read something before that 0 is usually a patched console RID.

Hey Mike...I was hearing the same thing all morning. The analog patch was very scratchy and I was unable to interpret the feed. I also picked up something on 1527 which sounded like some type of Jefferson Co Government...not real sure though.
On a side note...it sounded like someone had a gun at one of the local high school. Units were able to secure the gun quickly without further incident...thankfully!
this morning about 5:45AM I caught TG 1333 on the Berkeley Site. Not any real traffic though.
