I would be happy to see some work along the lines of bringing the ANALYZE functions up to par with the HP1 and HP2 series. One thing that I have continually cautioned about is not so much the overreach of expectations, but about the delivery of too much new functionality too quickly.
We have noted that certain firmware updates may have caused regressions of other features and functions or have had otherwise unintended or unanticipated consequences. I prefer a slower, albeit steadier introduction of updates that allows our group here to both evaluate the added functionality and to also observe any negative impact on existing features.
My recollection is that the last firmware update, while well intended, either did not function or had some unintended effects. Some here would find it hard to believe that after nearly two years of waiting for certain features to appear, I tend to feel that now that we are so close to achieving all the goals as they were originally intended, to prefer patience and prudence. I would rather see 4 or 5 quality features introduced one at a time, over the course of several months, rather than an entire package of goods dropped into the radio all at once.
