Hi all,
I'm trying to setup my new XPR 5550e to work with the public address function of the siren in my first response vehicle. Basically, I want to be able to hit PTT and have my voice go out to PA speakers. So I don't have to keep two MICs in the car.
Going over the installation manually many times, page 34 (section 3-2) Rear Accessory Connector, I have no clue which of these pins should I use:
PIN-9 SPKR- Speaker - (3.2 ohm minimum impedance)
PIN-10 SPKR+ Speaker + (3.2 ohm minimum impedance)
PIN-13 AUX Audio 1 PUBLIC Address 1
PIN-15 AUX Audio 2 PUBLIC Address 2
And also, in CPS, there are two PA functions: Internal PA and External PA.
Has anyone done this before? Please share some insights. Thank you in advance.
