Not much going on here lately except for the HUGE band opening this AM. (y)
If anyone knows where the female robotic voice dispatching is from, it be greatly appreciated. One thing I have been following is the timestamps. My time is usually around 15-30 seconds ahead of the timestamps. Dispatchers, I need more timestamps. It is funny to hear the hissing static being re-transmitted from the Bronx when I get it static free. :p
60-Control and Lancaster County-Wide Coms battle for the airwaves. Manheim Township, Lancaster City, Columbia Borough, Manor Township, East Lampeter Township and Ephrata Township are heard on Lancaster re-transmitting the P25 system. And as usual the Falmouth MA. simulcast. When I hear it I always have a mental image of a hamster running on a wheel.:LOL:

Two meteor showers soon according to the Times:

Back-to-back meteor showers this week How to watch Delta Aquarids and Alpha Capricornids​

These should result in more frequent reception of BNSF meteor scatter coms on 44.58, FM mode E of the Mississipi. A problem for many is these happen very early in the AM. I could save these to a sim card & play them back if I had this type app.

The article in USA Today says southern states will get the most actitivity.

I'm still looking for an app that would decode these bursts. Besides hirail vehicles, these transmitters are at defect detectors: hot box, dragging equipment, hi-car/low car, wheel impact, etc. Check FCC General Menu Reports to access data on all of these for a given state & county.
