32.180 on the 17th Aug. The french highways made the trip over the pond too. It's been a few months for that.

Language is Spanish - call for 22 . French motorways relay output are from 35 MHz to 36.125 MHz . You can sometime have some digital transmissions called eDMR - a french DMR with 3 slots . If DSD plus team or DSD FME would accept logs and data , we could be able to decode it . It is use worldwide also in Africa for some governments .

That 39.010 is Taxi Lider, Macapá, Amapá. Brazil. - Heard here a few times and in mainland Europe. They use a 67.0 tone - or at least they did this February.

Which double zepp are you running for lowband and how does it do across the band 40-50mhz?

Whats your preferred method for capturing this stuff? Do you actively monitor it, or do you have a scanner attached to a PC that just scans band segments and records associated traffic?

I'd love to start doing this, and have a few options for PC controlled scanners, as well as a low-band base station antenna already set up. Suggestions?

My set up is simple. Scanner is on 24/7. When I hear something I press record. Others have sophisticated set ups using a PC. Over the years I have noticed antenna height doesn't matter for my situation.

Just some copper wire stung up 6' above the earth. I calculated for 33.420 and then shortened everything by 1" to be usable on 46. I hear Westchester and Suffolk counties on their 46 freqs down here in Carolina.
Would like to see some pics of your setup. I'm in carpoina also and always like hearing lowband traffic but havnt found a great lownand antenna yet. Low long is your lengths and such?

After the cutting off an inch from the initial calculations, the total length is 36.26', elements are 18.13', and the matching stubs are 3'. My best guess after the shortening is 5/8ths at 34.20-ish MHz. It's a string tied between two trees, wire taped to the string, and the stubs are spaced apart by a 1" pvc pipe. The RG6 coax is directly connected. Keep it simple.

Thanks for the reply. If anyone has suggestions on a PC-based automated method, I'd be all ears. Something that logs frequency and audio would be neat. I just don't have time to do it manually but this sort of thing has piqued my interest in the past, and seeing this thread has ignited my interest in getting it going as it would appear that I already have all of the pieces.
