46.1 / 69.3 on Nov 5th I heard a call to Locust Valley, Nassau, NY using that tone on that freq - I'm not sure if it is actually WQFU211 Locust Valley ( there are a lot of Nassau dispatches on that freq) but it was certainly something in that vicinity.

I've also seen that tone on 46.12.

likely both Simplex Ops vs a Repeater, too tight - even VHF Amateur is +/- 600 khz

FCC lists two locations being 3 miles apart with 37.24 as the fixed base - 50 watts and 37.02 as the mobile - 80 watts. This aint what my ears regularly hear. To me 37.02 is clearly the repeater and the mobiles are on 37.24.

100% agree - it's likely that the pair is either backwards for some reason. But then you say you've heard both in parallel at times, so maybe they've got some unholy expensive filtering in use. Or split sites with a UHF link.

Not wanting to be a smartaxx but, technically it is in the DB.



You have to remember users submit info to the DB. One possibility on the omission is the user may not be receiving this frequency on their rubber duck/attic discone.
