I'm picking up a site 87 on System 1F8 from South Texas. CC of 855.3375. Possibly Corpus Christi site but other frequencies don't match license (855.6375, 856.7875, 857.7875, 858.7875). No peers reported and no activity yet
So to be clear, you are picking up:
1F8-87.87
855.3375 cc
855.6375 ac
856.7875 ac
857.7875 ac
858.7875 ac
Is that right? Are you sure about the 855.6375?
I wonder if you could be pulling in a distant site via tropo?
Texas is one of the areas where AEP has a large number of licenses with a large number of frequencies attached to a site. Makes it very difficult to pin down sites based upon FCC data. They are trimming that down with updates to FCC records that they have been doing, but there are still a ton of licenses with 50-60 frequencies on a site.
What I would suggest is that in whatever program you are using to copy that site, delete all information for 1F8 and start brand new. If you still get the same results, then the results are right. But I am just suggesting this to make sure there haven't been any channels picked up other sites inadvertently because of switching between control channels of different sites.
Then, I suppose the next thing I would do is make note of whether I can pick it up 100% of the time, day/night. Or if it's weak/strong constantly. You want to figure out if it's a site far away that you are pulling in via tropo, or a closer site that can be copied 24/7 regardless of atmospheric conditions.
