Just checked Googled Dothan to Enterprise is 28 miles ,this may be why I can not receive Enterprise unless Google is wrong .
Yeah. with what you are currently using that is likely i guess. With this Centerfire Discone in the living room I get Geneva(25miles), Ozark(20), and Elba(20). But again, unless i stretch it to the garage, I must find a less instrusive solution for the living room. No holes, no ugly antennas.. LOL.. Wifes.. what a pain..just don"t understand...Really only concerned with Coffee m Dale counties..Fire, pd n ems..

Just looked up where the Coffee County Sheriff repeater is located and it where the Sheriff office is located at 1133 East McKinnon St in New Brockton. The repeater is on top of a 97 foot tower and uses a 92 foot antenna on top of that and is 100 watt output, so that should also be good for 20 miles also.

Dudley the frequency for Enterprise "STREETS" was 156.195 a few years ago. Later it was used by the Enterprise
Police NDXN system for 1 of its frequencies. For some reason Enterprise became part of S & P's network.
All they did was change channel numbers, the frequencies stayed the same. SO 156.195 that at 1 time was
a conventional frequency is now a part of the S & P's network and is downloaded from the RR database
as part of Coffee county. SO you have 156.195 in 2 places, 1 labeled "Enterprise Streets" and the other
labeled "Enterprise?" in your scanner. Like you said 156.195 needs to be locked out or deleted from the
conventional list. This "STREETS" discussion has been going on for a long time. Maybe it needs to be deleted
from the RR database.

@millam - thanks for the info. I live in Lexington, Ky and I am just trying to remotely help out two guys in Alabama so I can't really put anything in one of my scanners to test. With that being said, that is why I am recommending the conventional version be removed their scanners. I think it is interfering with the trunk system scanning. The pictures of what is in Sentinel and screen shots are coming from @jjl0412 who lives near Enterprise.

Put into my 436 the way it was told on this forum , even went as far as to just do a favorites list for just Enterprise / Elba NXDN frequencies been about 3 hours now and hear nothing, I think it is because I am to far away to hear them.

@jjl0412 - reading the above post from @millam got me thinking.

Let's try something - get in Sentinel and edit the STREETS entry to change the frequency to 156.200 and the RAN to 51. That combination shouldn't match up to anything. The 156.200 is not in use anywhere in Alabama so you won't get any hits on and it can't interfere with the scanning. Also while in editing, click on the Avoid column and select avoid. That way the channel won't even be scanned. You can always edit it again if there is a need to reset it back to what is originally for you.

After you save everything, then write the updated information to the scanner and check the box to Erase Favorites on Scanner.

@dallascowboys - Elba is on the S&P trunk system, not the City of Enterprise trunk system. Since they use the same set of frequencies for the Enterprise area, you may still be alright and distance is your problem.

What about Eprise pd? Thanks to Dudley helping me, i get ems and fire..but no pd. If you get the PD for either Eprise and/or Daleville, could you post the freg's? I need to be sure they are correct. Also, did Daleville change anything since RR has been posted? Not getting the traffic i use to from there.
