What is the best online feed to monitor the most activity. I understand the radios are going nonstop but what would provide the most tactical and planing stuff. Not just move your officers to "Street name".

You're not going to hear a lot of strategic or planning traffic on the City system. What you are hearing is dispatch and tactics...they do the rest via phone, conference, meetings, etc. Then that is filtered down to the districts. You hear the results of those decisions/plans, basically.

Going through some of the recordings overnight. A supervisor was talking about collecting/distributing radios that they gave to Montgomery County. Montgomery said that they wouldn't need the radios because they had their own portables reprogrammed to pick up the Baltimore City channels.

So what online feed would you recommend?

Anyone know if County Police are being issued radios that communicate with City's special Event TGs, Citywide and District C?

Hmmm, no.

Also a lot of activity on 7398, enc of course. Some sort of MSP channel based on radio IDs.

Baltimore County PD portables have the city system directly programmed into them. If you're seeing 225xxxx RIDs, that's them.

I'm curious if anyone has seen a patch of any FiRST TG into the Baltimore City system?

The City has been cross patching and joining channels on an operational regular basis throughout this situation. This seems to be happening at the direction of operations commanders at the citywide and district levels from what I have been hearing.

Have not seen a patch with FiRST show up on city system, even though I have heard refences made to the two main City Tac channels (9010 & 9011) a number of times on FiRST Tac 3,4,5.
So apparently those using 3,4,5 have ability to monitor the City Tac channels.

That's part of their zone/channel numbering scheme- radio channel pos 7 (Western) on zone C (tac). It's in the DB for 7C only so far.

With this and the 10a/11a info, I am able to do a good guess on all the other A and C combinations. So far they seem to bear out to the extent I've heard anyone refer to the chamnels.

Are the city radio ID'S worth trying to capture for Police? Or are the radios assigned to persons who then assume different unit numbers for their shifts? I know that the fire units seem to stay with their units. Just wondering if the police radios are portables assigned to officers or if they are assigned to a car number like fire units?

That's the only one I know of that's publicly advertised...I thought about setting up one for myself that includes TGs that Broadcastify doesn't like, so I could hear it at work, but the activities here of late made me work from home, so it became moot...

Is that the only place?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this would be the worst time to try to match things up...once this is over, a lot of temporary assignments will dissolve...maybe then make an attempt....? Unless someone has a better idea...
