I believe RF stands for Really Freaky. I have seen a lot of strange things when dealing with RF during my lifetime. One of the strangest things that happened to me was years ago when I was using a CB radio. When I released the microphone button, I heard myself signing off. Evidently, the signal circled the earth a couple of times, and the delay was sufficient for me to hear myself when the signal just happened to return to my location. It wasn't someone local using a recorder. The signal had the sound of a long-range transmission.
