Anybody know what the frequencies that are being used as the new FG 'OPS' channels on the new system? I was at an event yesterday and I thought that I had all the new system programmed but I was about 25 feet away from the CP and I didn't hear jack-squat on my BCD436HP.

And now Central stopped the F-1 simulcast on the P25 system. I guess there was a problem with something? Is that all we get?

I've got the analog on one and the digital on another. The digital is going in & out.
Maybe they're tweaking it a little.

As far as the digital goes oh, I don't know what radio you're using or where your location is but if you are definitely North County or South County lock out the opposite site of where you are. You're radio might be reaching for the wrong site. I am by the Burlington-Bristol Bridge and I get 5 bars on North simulcast and nothing on South simulcast. If I was to scan both I get broken transmissions. Just scanning North simulcast I get five bars consistently.

If you are not using an SDS radio this really doesn't apply as you probably are just getting simulcast distortion secondary to LSM. Try using north or south individually and see if it helps.

No its definitely in and out. I'm using a Unication pager and a SDS scanner monitoring North. One dispatch for 139 came in on analog only. The other for 509 came in on both.
Yes, we have talked before and I think you are in the Berlin area? Pretty far from me. What I noticed is like others, it was working great and then just stopped. I will monitor tonight on North simulcast with my SDS 200 with a 150 450 7 - 800 ground plane and report my findings.

If you are finding these results with two very good simulcast capable receivers then it is on their end and not ours :)

1) The patch is being enabled/disabled, which explains why some dispatches are coming through and some aren't.
2) the delay you hear is the byproduct of having to decode a digital voice transmission. That will vary depending on how fast the processor is in your device (Motorola, Unication, Uniden, etc).

So far today all dispatches on VHF have been simulcast on 700mhz North site but NOT the South site. I am getting Virtua Medcom on South which I rarely ever hear on that site.
