Probably his Global Database Administrator status.

As far as why they were deleted, I'm guessing this section of the database administrator handbook is why:

Adding And Editing Talkgroups
Under no circumstances are unidentified talkgroups of any kind to be entered in a system, encrypted or clear.

I'm guessing "testing noted" and other unconfirmed talkgroups are best served in the Wiki until they're confirmed.

@LAflyer any reason why not all of Diablo was added to the update today? Only two of the four(?) total frequencies were added...Just curious.
Not sure, looks like the data was truncated by Db software. Entered it again and looks OK now.

The Db is not meant to be a scratchpad for a growing list of unconfirmed talk groups, particularly ones which may be phantom ones used by radio techs and never be part of the actual operational system.

The more appropriate place would be track them in the Wiki until usage is confirmed. The system has a blank Wiki page which members are free to edit and manage.

Looking at the database, is there enough information/general consensus to 'confirm' that,
Site 8 is Bald Mountain - Yolo,
Site 20 is Loma Prieta,
Site 28 is Hauser Mountain?

I took a drive up I-80 to check out the sites in Placer and Nevada counties. Here is what I found and submitted to the database:

Site 21 - Wolf Mountain, Nevada County
773.08125 CC
773.55625 scc
773.78125 scc
774.33125 scc
NAC: 9D1

Site 22 - Banner Mountain, Nevada County
769.96875 CC
770.91875 scc
773.34375 scc
773.79375 scc
NAC: 9D2

Site 23 - Mount Howell, Placer County
773.05625 CC
773.29375 scc
773.58125 scc
773.80625 scc
NAC: 9D3

Additionally, I was able to occasionally get Site 50 at Wolf Mountain, and when heading down Highway 20 from Nevada County to Marysville. When I got more into the valley, Site 1's signal blew Site 50's signal out. This leads me to believe that Site 50 is on either Oregon Peak (Yuba County), or Signal Peak (Nevada County) based on that I can hear it in portions of Nevada County, and some say they can hear it in Butte County. I plan on taking another trip up to pin point Site 50's location in the future.

Testing on Site 18 this afternoon. TG 427, RID 3001, tech referred to the talkgroup as "Tac 1" (means nothing, I know). Logged 7 voice calls since yesterday and they have all been on 774.81875, both slots.

Hearing some testing with apparent patch to Sacramento CHP Gold channel around noon today on Mt. Saint Helena TG861. Unit ID 11044.

I'm getting this same activity as well in Sacramento, listening to Site 7. TG 861, UID 11044, simulcasting GLD2 VAL B.

For whatever it's worth, TG 428 was referred to as TAC 2...Hearing it on Mount St. Helena as well.

It means a lot to me. This is great information, thank you!

Does anyone know if the Gold is still being broadcast on 773.33125 from Pine Hill?
