LED headlights trashing the VHF-Low radio. Probably a few other things as well.Historically, many agencies across the nation have followed the lead of the CHP when purchasing their fleets due to the extensive platform testing done in Sacramento. Multiple Ford dealerships bid against each other for the lucrative General Services contract. I doubt any real voice of Ford would suggest the CHP buy elsewhere.
Is the RFI issue suffered by the Kenwood TK-690H radio or some other system element like the vehicular repeater or the data modem/display?
Okay, back to CRIS now.

NAPCO released another frequency coordination log today.
Nice they're getting 8 freqs approved each, 14 voice channels. Hoadley is right next to Southfork, but is key to Weaverville/Trinity Lake and further west on 299 coverage.More CRIS VHF sites:
French Gulch (Hoadly Peak) - Trinity Lake area.
Garberville (Pratt Moutain)
Burney (Bunchgrass Mountain)

CalOES offered us a similar package. They referred to it as a "6 pack". Control channel, 6 TDMA slots. $300K, but did not include the infrastructure to support it all. Not a viable solution for what we needed.I believe it's 4 inputs and 4 outputs.
brain fart - you're right. That 6pack config is the standard CRIS 19" rack getting put in everywhere.I believe it's 4 inputs and 4 outputs.
I believe this is new. I'm seeing Site 14 (CC - 769.96875) showing up as a site neighbor to Mt Vaca (Site 15). It's not showing as a neighbor on any other sites that I can receive from Sacramento (1, 2, 7, 8, 18, 21, 66).
I'll have to take a ride down that way when I'm in town next. The remote station in Cloverdale isn't hearing it, but that lines up with my previous findings.Probably English Hill (near Sebastopol)
