Using any of the newer versions should/will be just fine. The author has really picked up activity in releasing new versions and features in the last couple months, and I see now preparations for nightly builds which I might not be as excited to run on a production system, but any of the last few recent beta versions have been pretty stable. Broadcastify is working through running down an odd bug people are seeing with missing calls in some feeds, but so far that's proven to not be unique to any one version of SDRTrunk.
I've kept pretty up to date through the beta versions, and seen no other issues related to stability. There was one weird bug on a couple versions of the Windows releases I experienced that resulted in the playlist randoming eating itself. Never really tracked that one down. Just got used to keeping a backup copy and that being the first thing I'd check anytime the node went offline unexpectedly.
