You should be listening via playlists, not via nodes. I'm not sure why my pleas are falling on deaf ears. We're capturing all the talkgroups, it just depends on which node is capturing the talkgroup.

You need to listen via playlists... I keep saying this and people keep just ignoring this.

We're going to force you in the right direction. That's all I can say at this point to folks who want to belabor this issue. 😜
Ok I found my issue (and maybe others):

The calls webpage has some wrong pointers. Broadcastify Calls directs one (via nice big red button) to Calls Node Status which is what most folks were used to listening from (nodes).

It really needs to point to Broadcastify Calls Coverage from which one picks the TGs to make a playlist from. I think thats a large part of the confusion.

So to suggest, get rid of the nodes page (status) and dump everyone to the coverage page. IE Move the big red button.

Also, for some of the systems, since the TGs are known (via RRDB) can we get them auto-imported? I see many missing for one reason or another. One county I frequent for example has Tac 1 and Tac 10. 2-9 are MIA. Also is there a way to request re-foldering systems? I get this is going to take some user input as I dont expect the system to automatically know what channel is for what, and is more going to be a local user knowledge thing.

The removal of the “last 10 minutes” within the playlist area would be nice. Being able to just go back in time on the node screens is nice.

Also if there is a way to figure out what call is coming from what Node provider i think that would be a great feature to see also

This is excellent feedback. I’m going to tackle this tomorrow

Since you're taking UI suggestions...

Fixed-height on the player elements. The current talkgroup div bounces the page up and down as the content changes.

Native dark mode.

Dismissible alerts / messages (the big orange guy, stick an X up in the right corner!).

We've disabled listening via individual nodes, except for node owners.

Now that we rolled out our new call management back end system which votes on nodes for individual talkgroups, we've received a ton of support requests from people listening via individual nodes that they no longer hear talkgroups on nodes.

Given that a node is not guaranteed to supply a talkgroup to Calls, there is no viable reason for us to enable listening via an individual node any longer, except to allow node owners the ability to monitor the quality of traffic received by their node.

Node Owners: if your node is not capturing talkgroups for specific talkgroups, DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. You are encouraged to keep broadcasting your node, because the system constantly votes and reevaluates, and another person's node may go offline for a period of time. The health of the network only gets stronger when we have lots of nodes participating in the system.

I wonder why people always want to "cancel" a premium subscription? That money is gone, you've already paid for x amount of time, take advantage of it. I could see saying "I won't renew my subscription", but wanting to cancel makes no sense to me.

I didn't realize there was a separate subscription for Broadcastify, I thought it was a Radio Reference subscription to give people access to forums, classifieds, wiki, database and Broadcastify. Is the Broadcastify subscription separate and cheaper?

There is no separate subscription, they are the same.

Additionally, we might be the coolest provider in the world when it comes to subscriptions. We don't auto-bill our customers - our customer are required to renew their subscriptions manually every, single time. No surprise charges, no automatically re-billing etc.

I challenge anyone to find an online service provider that operates the way we do.

Access to the Forums, Wiki, and Database don't require a subscription.
