Camden county radio zone quick reference guide

I obtained a quick reference guide that I made some updates to. Station identifiers, and some missing materials were added.

Just out of curiosity but I'm almost afraid to ask, does anyone know what TGID 311 AND 321 are? I hear encrypted comms on those round the clock but no radio ID ever comes up.

I'm guessing the 300's are where the police will be. And all police channels are encrypted.

thanks dan when ever i correct someone on here with bad info i get told i don't know what im talking about lol.

Whoever told you Philly was moving to full-time encryption was blowing smoke. They have had encryption on certain channels and it will remain that way moving forward. Repeat after me: Philly is NOT going to be encrypted full-time...

Yea I'm sure its some kind of la enforcement. But nobody has noticed any agencies disappearing from any of the old analog channels?

Voorhees was most recent town to switch police dispatch over to County. Since new county P25 radio system was already in the works County dispatched Voorhees on their old freqs & radios until new system ready. No sense to switch twice. So, that's why Voorhees was first to go to new system. Other local PDs are still on analog but will be switched to P25 w/encryption as their new radios get installed. Focus right now is switching fire & ems w/most channels unencrypted.

Any chance 311 and 321 are additional channels for Voorhees, like switchover or tactical channels perhaps?

Based on channel numbering scheme 200's fire & EMS, 300's law, seems reasonable that they could be additional Voorhees channels if they're active now. Of course, county law agencies such as Sheriff, Prosecutor, Jail, Park Police, etc. could be testing/using new 300 range channels. They might be next in line to switch over prior to municipal PD's. Maybe someone out there can confirm more law channel assignments (even though they can't be monitored).

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.5; en-us; ZTE-N910 Build/GRJ90) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Yeah, county agencies are a possibility. Its a shame we cant get any further technical details. Could one theoretically run pro96com on it and at least log the radio id numbers that affiliate with those TGs? Maybe that would help figure it out

Just a heads up for everyone. The new system will NOT go online April 8th as planned. No new date has been given at this time.

Curious minds want to know. What's the rest of the story? I thought it was a rolling implementation, not an abrupt switchover of all districts at one time.

I'm guess, but I will ask. It would make sense to have the police do a slow roll out, but Fire and EMS could do it with out clogging up the system. I could see telling everyone say on a Monday morning at 07:00 to now use the system. Unless there is a major event that would throw a wrench into the plan. Usually there isn't a lot of things going on that time of the morning as far as Fire and EMS are concerned.

Oh yeah, FYI. PD do not go onto the 700 system until the 4th quarter of this year. Fire and EMS will be on first!

So, besides Voorhees PD which is already on 700 system no other PD's will switch over between now and 4th quarter? Does this 4th qtr date apply just to town PD's or to County agencies too (Sheriff, Jail, Prosecutor's Office, Park Police)?

i think someone in this thread a while back said that we will still be able to monitor (Sheriff,Jail,Prosecutor, and Park Police) if that is true will they stay on the current 507.7875?

Park Police no longer exist. They have been dissolved and transferred to the new County PD. The rest will be on the new system at some point. Dont know when yet.
