Hello all,

a Capacity Max Advantage site has popped up near me and I'm having trouble adding the required lines to the DSDplus files.

I have added these lines to the dsdplus. frequencies file,
TIII, 10, 1.3, 9, 165.1000, 0.0, 0 ; CC
TIII, 10, 1.3, 11, 165.15225, 0.0, 0
this site is my local site, I managed to get the ota channel number from visiting another local site and watching that control channel,

from what I have worked out they are using the Huge network model for the system as all site codes start with H1
the local site to me is H1-3 with the supposed site cc channel number of 11 but I seem to recall someone on here saying if the lcn in dsd is odd take 2 off the number. the syscode in DSD shows
+DMR slot1 BS DATA DCC=7 CSBK ERR3/RAS Bcast Site Pri/SysCode=6 11.01.0000000011 AB; Neighbor Pri/SysCode/CC=0 11.01.0000000010 7 ACTIVE

the other file I am struggling to understand is the dsdplus.sites file to add the name of each site.

id be greatful if someone can point me to where i am going wrong id be over the moon

If the network ID is 1, why are you using 10?

And CapMax doesn't use area#.site# so I wouldn't expect DSD+ to be displaying a site ID of 1.3

Looking at the SysCode, isn't it network ID 1, site 3?

So how would this be entered in to the DSD frequencies file just to check i've got it right.
TIII, 1, 3, 11, XXX.XXXX, 0.0, 0, CC

I don't seem to quite understand the layout for T3 systems

the two CC sites are H1-3 and H1-4 with 1 voice channel at each site.

Yep you got it.

Don't forget to put appropriate entries in your DSDPlus.networks and DSDPlus.sites files as well.

DSDPlus.networks
TIII,1,"name of system"

DSDPlus.sites
TIII,1,3,"name of site 3"
TIII,1,5,"name of site 5"

Of course, down the road you might end up finding more TIII systems different from that one, but with the same network ID. If that happens you'll have to use some additional trickery to differentiate between the two. But for now that should do it.

Why are you noting CC vs VC. They are likely to change over time. And you are using a comma to separate that, which is causing the issue.

Try (at the end):
0 ; CC
0 ; VC

A comma is not a comment designator

Remove the CC and VC tags at the end of the frequencies.
I would be surprised if the system didn't swap them around once a day which would make you have to update them daily. DCC would be color code to replace the cc and vc in it's spot.
