Ok, are we going to place new items in the Wiki or in the other thread in this forum? I have placed a couple of items in the Wiki area and not here or the other thread. I already see a "duplicate (8020) with two different possibilities!

the second 8020 should have been 8059 and mostlikely EMS

8020 RCSO and 8059 RCEMS were coming up on the Chatt. and N. Bradley sites today. Anyone else get 5508 as Bradley Co ems?

Not sure where to post this. Trying to program a BCD396T to track the TVRCS in the Knoxville area. I was hoping to pickup Roane county, but not sure it's programmed correctly. I am using Butel's ARC396PRO to download the system from RR and I made sure the frequencies were correctly entered as each site (Chattanooga, Black Road, Sharp's Ridge, and Roane county simulcast), but it won't lock on a control channel. I manually tune to the Roane county control channel (769.08125), but there are no data tones. I can successfully track the Knoxville/Knox County 800 MHz system so I'm not a total newbie just a newbie with TVRCS.

You may be too far away to hear the control channel for the Roosavelt Mnt. site that serves Roane County - which by the way, there is no simulcast system for Roane. They use stand alone sites like everywhere else outside of Chattanooga. You should be able to hear the Black Road and Sharps Ridge sites in Knox County. On my 396t I program the trunked system as "p25" and enter the control channel, using control channel only mode.
While listening today, heard 1539 which the guys said was Tennessee State Net. They then went to 16001, what they called TEMA Tac-1, then 16002 which they called TEMA Tac-2, then 16003 which they called TEMA Tac-3. 16019 is TEMA State EOC.
By the way, does anyone know about sites 16 and 18? One is Cross Mnt, the other is Windrock Mnt, both in Anderson County. Which is which?

the listing on RR has roane as simulcast and i can hear them on black road site

I was able to hear TGIDs 8020 and 8021 while between Powell and Halls today as well as TEMA-OPS. Control channels for TGIDs 8020 and 8021 alternated between 769.3062 and 769.6062, but mainly 769.3062. I have put all 84 frequencies into one site and alternated locking out different control channels. Black Road and Sharps Ridge lock onto control channels, but I don't recall any TGIDs coming across those. Thanks for the help!

Ok when I get talk groups how do I add them to the new page that click23 setup I have Roan co sheriff on 8020,8021 as the page shows but tonight I got a new one 8005 asking another officer to meet him at rockytop and morrison hill where ever that is. I'm getting this in sevier co tower on greentop ( I think)

If you know who they are submit the info here, Submit Data to RadioReference

After that, or if you are not sure who it is, you can click the edit button on the wiki under "Unconfirmed and Pending in the database". If you have not edited the wiki before, it is not that hard. The format is |Talkgroup ID #||User||Description

Here is an example of one I just entered

|8003||Roane County||Roane County Fire Department

After you have entered the info click the "show preview" button. If everything looks OK click "save page", if not try to fix it. If you are have problems, you can send me a message and I can help you.

I just added two more columns for the "Unconfirmed and Pending in the database" section.

If you know for sure what a talkgroup is use for, then put Yes in the confirmed column.

If you have also submitted it to the database, put yes in the Submitted column.

I think will clear things up a bit.

Looking at the TG already figured out, I would bet that this is something from Catoosa County, probably SO or fire.

I heard Catoosa SO on 1511 a couple of weeks ago.

Catoosa County Sheriff's Office C-Tac 1 is 1511. C-Tac 2 is 1509 and C-Tac 3 is 1507.
Catoosa Fire Rescue Priority is 1515, Fireground-9 is 1517, Fireground-10 is 1519, Fireground-11 is 1521 and Fireground-12 is 1523.
By the way, the analog 5-channel Ringgold site for the analog Chatt/HamCo system is now off the air.

i just got home from Gatlinburg. Roane County is most def on this TRS the SO is using it full time Harrimen PD and Roane EMS were also heard also Heard was the tg for TEMA's Nashville ops didnt hear Roane Fire yet. while in sevier county i had the site in Sevier County in till i got to Gatinbrug aslo i find it weird why some ags are on nxtedge there and not on the new TRS

a band opening is in progress and i am recveing the Roane County tgs from site 18 here in hendersonville (wow!) Roane County Fire is def on that tg from the wiki unsure if its dispatch i am going to keep listing as long as in its in today to make sure if its dispatch or not


EDIT : the site just faieded out (boo) but this is my farest p25 catch to date. and to think i was just trveling tough Roane County on 40 on my way back here
