Does anyone know if Delaware State Police is digital?

I'm brand new to scanning and just purchased a Radio Shack pro-162. I downloaded Butus software and was able to load local FD but when i load trunked channels for DE they are all garbled. Is Delaware digital? If so i will return tomorrow for the pro 96.

It looks like all the talkgroups are digital and some are also encrypted (so a digital scanner would not work on those anyway).


Anything with a "D" is digital and an "E" is encrypted.

Yes you need a digital scanner to monitor the Delaware State Police. Some of their talkgroups are encrypted but the dispatch and tac channels are in the clear.
