Great seeing that trailer from the blob. I was young when I saw that movie and it scared the HE double hockey sticks out of me.

Who could have known that such a low budget, grade B movie would become such a phenomenon, that was Steve McQueen's first starring role.

Makes a good point though, Hazmat teams should approach any drone with CO2 fire extinguishers at the ready. It's the only thing that will stop it.

Not sure if this is FCC legal but there's a RF technology out there to jam the drone signal rendering them useless to the remote operator. I really don't encourage using other lethal methods, lol, but you fight technology with advanced technology.

NYS is pretty large. Wonder where she is going to stick this.

This is just downright confusing to me Dave, I stick to my theory that a small percentage of these sightings are USA armed services entities that are top secret and they don't need to tell anybody anything. The rest of it is, helicopters, common aircraft, pranksters, amateur drones, mass hysteria and histrionics.

They're not going to reveal to the the governor of New Jersey or New York what's going on and I don't blame them.

I certainly wouldn't tell anybody in congress.

I guess she's planning on shooting them down with the Air National Guard?

You can bet there are already automated network connected Drone Detection Systems in the NY Metro area. Are they all working together or are more likely operating independently? 🤣. Remember all the talk of interoperability? Never quite got there.

Seems as if plenty of views and interest on this thread. Looked at a few other States, this seems to be the leader.

What I am hearing on radios and reading in print there seems to be a common
response now. No response, however tell the caller if they witness a crash give us a call back. I don‘t hear aviation going out to investigate any longer. Social media
releases and pressers seem to say call or email the FBI.

Talk about catch and kill! Much has changed since first reported 11/18. I also now believe the press scrapes RR for news stories.

There is, in each state. It's made up of the people, pilots, media, public safety officials etc that all look up and see these. The ones who have been reporting it all along. By the time anything gets delivered and installed, its either going to have stopped on its own, people shooting them down, ot incoming POTUS ordering them shot down.

Thought something was mentioned in the NYPD Dr Phil ride along about systems near bridges and tunnels.

The military drones that operate in the airspace have downlink data signals on 225.100 & 240.950MHz FM mode in the milair UHF band. They are always in contact with FAA/ATC comms on the VHF/UHF 118.000 - 136.975MHz/225.000 - 399.975MHz freq ranges AM mode using tactical callsigns.
They do not always show up on the adsb radar.

The only time a US military operated drone would fly without this is during a war or credible threat to national security.
