using the new update 2.296 with FMPP using an RSP1A the LNA gain now only goes to 3 now, it use to go to 8 or 9, I cant even pick up a somewhat local p25 that was has a very high signal????????

I'm seeing the same behavior with the RSPdx. I switched back to the previous version for now. The new release only seems to mention the RSP1a and not what to do if you have one of the other RSP's which was previously working.

I just updated and now windows says it can't run 1R bat. FMP24cc works, but tried admin mode and still says Windows can not run the R1 batch file. Anyone run into this yet? Looks like I need to start over, copied my original Bat1R to the folder, but still won't run.

If its the pop up that I think it is, click on "More Info", and then it will give you an option to "Run Anyway". Once you do that, it shouldn't ask for further launches (until you upgrade again).

And the winner is: Slicewizard! Sure enough empty file. I used 7zip and my password worked and all looked fine. Never thought to check the Exe. file. Ran 7zip again and all is working now. Thanks guy's.

Just validating those experiencing crashes. It ran for several days on this same system (Con+ site) without issue, but now crashes every few hours.

My one is working without problems, but I'm using SDR Console and SDR-Sharp, instead FMPxx

have SDRPlay and when i set it on a controll channel, after a couple of seconds it jump off to 0.0125MHz higher and sits there. This is using FMPP-CC bat.

This is on CC/VC and regardless of the network i set it on. It is not a ppm deviation, because if i use it with SDRUno for example, the frequency is correct - checked with the clock frequencies on HF.
If I swap the SDRPLay for RTL-SDR v3.0 and run the FMP-24, it all runs well.

DSD+ thinks the control channel frequency is 857.2625 and that's where it's telling FMPP to tune to.

Edit:

You're monitoring Halton south zone and 857.2625 is the correct control channel frequency, so it looks like your SDRPlay is off frequency. Not sure what options you have to fix that.

You could try bumping the channel bandwidth in FMPP up to its maximum; that might let it see the control channel and auto-correct the fine tuning, but that won't help with the voice channels. You'd have to try the same thing on each of them.

Believe it or not IT IS actually PPM related. I had the same issue with RTL-SDR. It turns out that PPM correction that I set works just fine on VHF band and trunk tracks wonderfully. As soon as I jump to the same trunk system but on UHF band it does what you're experiencing. If I set the PPM to be "correct", UHF system is working nice but of course I'm loosing the VHF one. Had this issue since well, almost forever :) Never that big of a deal for me as I almost do not listen to the UHF system, so I keep the settings just right for the VHF one.
I was always thinking that the reason is the cheap chinese receivef.....well, maybe not :)

Starting to see a lot of crashes here and some other weirdness with my SDRPlay RSP1a.

Maximum LNA gain seems to be set at 3. I believe I could go as high as 6 or 7 before.

Sometimes when starting, it seems to go into Combined CC/VC Monitor mode and starts looking for a control channel. Setting it to Passive Digital Monitor doesn't help as it continues to look for a control channel.

Any idea how to correct PPM on FMPP-CC? It does not accept a "-Px.x" parameter (which works for FMP-24).

Nope, sorry. I use cheap chinese rtl-sdr and FMP24. How about pressing p/P when FMPP Is on focus?
