Maybe "unique" would be an even better term. Harris is the one that used the term proprietary in my training classes. No matter what, at this time no other vendor (according to them) has a radio with 800 mhz, P25 Phase II trunking enabled that will work on Harris with TDMA CC.

Read the thread I linked. You were given credit as credit was due. I knew you guys would act like this from your previous posts. Whaterever. I don't give a **** anymore. You take the credit alll you want, but I was the first one to get the decode started on this. The OP25 guy said it couldn't be done from those beautiful 4-FSK samples in the beginning. I decoded them and showed that they were in fact P2/TDMA control channel. The P25RX receivers where the first to decode voice from these new TDMA CC systems. I want credit for that.

I'm glad to give you credit for being the first. But, with that said, there were a bunch of users who submitted the necessary audio, and at least one (and probably two) coders who provided specific information in the public forum that helped the public (and you) to be able to do that. And, as far as DSDPlus goes, I'm sure that internal versions supported it very quickly even though a copy of Fast Lane that supported it wasn't made available for a week or so. I believe within 1-2 weeks all you (BTT / KA1RBI / DSDPLus) all had support for TDMA CCs available.

I can understand wanting the glory. When i'm first to accomplish something amongst a group of peers, I like to get the glory. But it was a colloborative effort. I mean, you posted progress in the forums but were having difficulties with certain things, and Slicerwizard posted some crucial information to help you along the way -- and maybe Max did too.

Authors, coders, and listeners who submitted audio came together to make it happen. BTT was the first publicly available, but it was absolutely a collaborative effort. I remember very distinctly how impressed I was that some egomaniac coders (aren't they all egomaniacs?) were actually sharing information. Personally, I apppreciate the efforts of everyone who was involved (and people can see who was involved by reading the thread you linked). And no, I'm not talkign about me. I was just the cheerleader. I can't code and had no audio samples. That was all done by everyone else.

FYSA, I am seeing ENC keyups on Site 2D7-8.8 TG 64812 (TDMA) - this site is in Christmas, Florida east of Orlando.
The new Duke P25 system in Florida is "go live" starting 8/1 with staged installations happening around the state. P25 is bridged with the Motorola 900 system for now until all the installations in all areas are complete.

Getting both clear and encrypted traffic on talk group 62016 in the Cincinnati area today. Not enough traffic to tell what the talk group is being used for yet. TG:62001 has also been active, all encrypted.

Updated list of talk groups seen today in the greater Cincinnati area.
62001
62016
62720
64835
It seems as the system activity is definitely picking up. So far I have only heard a small number of unencrypted transmissions and they have not been long enough to figure anything out from them.

Here is some information pieced together for the
Duke Energy P25 Phase 2 Trunked System and the Smartzone
935 MHz Trunked System 882D using Orlando Woodsmere Zone
12 on 938.7375 and Orlando Woodsmere site number 048
(30 hex) on 856.3875 using TRUNK88-490A with a scanner to
monitor the talkgroup/radio ID activity and sdrtrunk
v0.5.0-beta5 with an RTL-SDR to monitor the P25
talkgroup/radio ID activity. The 935 MHz voice traffic is
bridged to the P25 system as unencrypted clear voice.
sdrtrunk can listen to this P25 Phase 2 voice traffic on
the other slot on the control channel with the P25 Phase
2 individual channel mode with WACN 597780 (91F14)
System 727 (2D7) NAC 48 (30) for Orlando Woodsmere.
Here is my current best guess from what was observed.
There may be errors in my observations and assumptions.
However, hopefully this information is helpful for those
who are trying to analyze this system.
These are the P25 talkgroups/RIDs that are unencrypted
clear voice bridged from the 935 MHz Smartzone system.
TG 62753 RID 16428901 Apopka DCC TG 18128 (46D)
TG 62755 RID 16428903
TG 62756 RID 16428904 Jamestown TG 18192 (471)
TG 62757 RID 16428905 Longwood DCC TG 18256 (475)
TG 62785 RID 16428912 South Central OPS TG 18640 (48D)
TG 62786 RID 16428913 Winter Garden DCC TG 18576 (489)
TG 62787 RID 16428914 Saint Petersburg TG 18512 (485)
TG 62788 RID 16428915 Conway Dispatch TG 18320 (479)
The following RIDs appear to be what is bridged
from P25 to the 935 MHz Smartzone.
RID 39474 for TG 18576 Winter Garden DCC
RID 39475 for TG 18512 Saint Petersburg
RID 39478 for TG 18256 Longwood DCC
RID 39480 for TG 18128 Apopka DCC
RID 39492 for TG 18320 Conway Dispatch
RID 39498 for TG 18000 Deland DCC
RID 39499 for TG 18192 Jamestown
RID 37245 for TG 18640 South Central Ops

That's pretty cool analysis, thanks for providing that. The way that the bridge between analog unencrypted 900 and digital encrypted 800 MHz had to be constructed is probably the reason why this is happening. There are many more talk groups that are bridged but since you are listening on the Woodsmere Orlando site, you will not hear any of the North or South Florida or most of the West Coast talk groups because radios on those TG aren't or won't affiliate to the Woodsmere 900 site.

FYI, there is a duplicate in the database for 2D7 "Fort White" - I had solid copy on that site this morning as Site 39. There is a duplicate of this site already in the database as Site 16. More investigation will be needed on this one, but I am 99.9% sure that Site 39 is the correct label for Fort White.

I will be on a trip in the coming weeks to some of the interior counties of FL ... so hopefully I can fill in some of the blanks. The above Site 16/39 issue was corrected in the dB this morning.

On Site 15 Ft Meade I'm seeing Enc tg 62789 62790 according to the dsdplus shows Enc Than Group Call. I don't hear no audio and I'm sitting on the Ft Meade 900mhz. When sitting on the 900 side no tg/audio when dsdplus a tg shows up.

Showing a NAC of 044 and Site 68.68 on the Plainfield, IN site via DSD+. Control channel is still 854.8125.

Can you submit the full site details? That site isn't listed in the DB. Full site details meaning, CC/ACs, all active freqs, NAC, Site ID, etc.

Thanks

Anybody running OP25 on this system aside from me? I could benefit from having some OP25 symbol capture bin files of this system if there is one that is active and has actual voice activity on it.

It'll be interesting to see if any of these TGs start to get really busy (if they haven't already) while mobilizing for Hurricane Ian here in Florida. It'll also be interesting to see if any TGs turn their ENC off for mutual aid reasons when other out of state power crews come in to assist with any restoration efforts.
