After checking Radiorefence.com to make sure the talkgroups you are attempting to monitor are utilizing Provoice, do the following:
EDACS Dig/ED Enc Talkgroups When enabled, the scanner will track EDACS ProVoice and encrypted talkgroups. When disabled, the scanner will ignore EDACS ProVoice and encrypted talkgroups While the scanner can tune to those talkgroups, the scanner cannot decrypt the voice data being received. Default is Ignore.
Scanner Press SEL or to check (Use), or uncheck (Ignore).
Software Advanced Features > Trunking Options > ED Enc Talkgroups- Use, Ignore.
