Sentinel: Frequencies and systems missing from sentinel

Pretty sure after it’s reinstalled you just read the scanner in and your fav lists will be there.

Can you post a screenshot of the nationwide tab expanded?

Then you have a corrupted data file not a sentinel problem.

I’m out right now but pretty sure @ProScan will import nationwide data on demand.

I removed the sentinel data files from my PC, removed and reinstalled sentinel, imported my favorite lists from my SDS100 into sentinel... Reconstructed full database
I still have the same issue with the sentinel database....

I'm going to have to work on this more tomorrow not sure what's going on here

What data files? Most likely they were the store favorites lists. If your scanner favorites list are good, uninstall sentinel and reinstall

The only other thing I would try is to change install locations.
Sounds like not reinstalling just restoring.

Operator error. There is nothing wrong with the software or the latest Sentinel database dated 3/9.

Turns out everything was being backed up to Microsoft OneDrive. That was the file location. OneDrive ran out of space and did not allow me access to my data. Later this evening or tomorrow I will eliminate Microsoft OneDrive for my computer reinstall sentinel and direct the data files to a new location. I believe this should fix the problem.

I'm not a OneDrive user, but, there should be settings on it to stop it from omitting certain folders from the sync and only having them locally.

This was a relatively new PC which came with Microsoft OneDrive installed apparently. I have no use for Microsoft OneDrive at this point so I uninstalled it. The uniden sentinel files are still being directed to a OneDrive file location and that is the problem. Need to uninstall all unit then data and sentinel data and then reinstall it to a different location away from one drive. I believe this should fix the issue.

Okay so here we are 24 hours later and the uniden sentinel database is still not showing any nationwide frequencies and it's still not showing A portion of the data on county systems.

When you click on Nationwide it comes up completely blank for every county in every state.

I completely uninstalled sentinel reinstalled, eliminated OneDrive, went back in and eliminated all old installation folders and data folders from uniden sentinel.

I tried reconstructing the database.
Nothing is accomplishing to provide the correct full database information.

Any other suggestions?

Using Windows 11 relatively new HP laptop.

I Actually like sentinel, never had any issues until now. This is a windows 11 issue/Sentinel/HP laptop issue which I would like to fix.

Did you completely uninstall sentinel and all files and registry settings associated with it? You mentioned it was saving to onedrive and mentioned that you also uninstalled onedrive.

I completely uninstalled sentinel reinstalled, eliminated OneDrive, went back in and eliminated all old installation folders and data folders from uniden sentinel.

The Sentinel database files are located at (depending on what version you are using)

C:\ProgramData\Uniden\BCDx36HP_Sentinel\Database​

C:\ProgramData\Uniden\HomePatrol_Sentinel\Database​

Did you remove the files in this directory when you uninstalled and removed old folders?

This is a separate location from the profiles, favorites list files and discovery log.

You may want to try again tomorrow after the weekly database update occurs.
