I filled out the form and attached my files and hit the upload button at the bottom. I got a progress bar which finished and closed... but no affirmative response that it had been received. Is this what everyone else is seeing?

To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.
If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.
To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

From what I understand, there are some issues with the corresponding beta PPS that the Unication programmers are also working on.

As the Beta appears to be serially number controlled:
a. Will the PPS work on other non-Beta updated pagers or will we (and can we) have two versions of the PPS installed, one for the Beta unit and another for the non Beta unit(s)?
b. If we can have multiple versions of the PPS can we sign up for the Beta more than once to test different systems and pagers?
I would like to test both my G2 VHF which has a touchy P25 trunked system and my G5 which has numerous P25 P1 and P2 systems. If only one Beta allowed, then I'll go with the G5.

Do you have PPS installed? If not, download and install PPS. Connect your radio. Ask PPS to read your radio. Then use PPS to export your codeplug.

Hi all. Glad to see unication working on scanning. Can't wait for the new info to drop, hopefully sooner rather then later. Can't wait to bata test great hardware hopefully the new software update will be as easy to use as the old software. Can't say enough about unication products and staff.
Now I don't feel so bad. I found he'd figured it out right after I posted (and immediately removed my comment).
I will admit that I struggled with trying to find the '.unipps' info for a bit. I forget who finally told me the PPS stores the info in various files on the computer that become the .unipps when imported back from, the pager.
So the weirdest thing happened but I got new notification to a watched thread and when I clicked on it I saw his message so I replied. Then I could not see his post above mine and I was head scratching until I found his post on page 1 of the thread. Then I realized I answered a question that he already answered himself, and that you deleted your answer. So when I went back to delete my post it was not an option. No real way to back out of this because I made a further mess lol. So I left my answer in case it helps someone else one day.

I want in on this but the only problem is my G5 has been at Unication for a month,, what is the window on registration as i do not have the replacement yet and do not know the new Serial #,, tracking says label was created yesterday on the retuning unit

Anybody else unable to complete the registration. I have tried from 2 different computers and it keeps telling me there is an upload error. I have tried 2 different unipps files that I use on 2 different computers with no luck.

I ended up emailing myself my unipps file and downloading it onto my phone, and I was able to complete the upload from my phone. Not sure why, but maybe it will help somebody ender if they have that issue.
