If you say so LOL. Whatever but I can show you a pics of my radios with out of range on the displays. And I'll guarantee the system went down! That's a fact

Curious how you guys have your favorites list set up for Cuyahoga County. Currently I have city of Cleveland in one favorites list, other Cuyahoga fire in a second and then law-enforcement in a third list. Thinking about dividing the fire and police into east and west as well. The latter two favorites have both Cleveland towers and Marcs.

I’ve had an SDS100 for several years. Just received a new SDS200. Can’t wait to play around this weekend.

I’ve had an SDS100 for several years. Just received a new SDS200. Can’t wait to play around this weekend.

I have the GCRCN as one favorite, largely setup like the database, with every department active, then I have another GCRCN favorite with everything inactive that I can just select which department I want to isolate. I’ve basically committed all the department numbers I have to memory.

For MARCS I have one favorite with several local towers I can hit. Then I have another favorite that utilizes location/GPS when traveling, and another favorite that also allows me to isolate a department. I also have MARCS favorites that are only one department. Say there’s a crash on 271 in Beachwood, I can quickly activate my Beachwood only favorite (I rarely use these, but they are there).

So in all I probably have ten MARCS related favorites, two GCRCN favorites, and one favorite that has Medina-Parma-Ottawa, Lorain County and Huron County Harris systems all in one as they’re tougher for me to monitor location wise.

This is what I'm going with so far. I cant figure out if I can separate some of the MARCS departments. MARCS seems to lump them in by county. I created a google doc because my screen shots are too large to post.

TG 56121 seems to be kennel related traffic such as cleaning and appointments for animals? It follows just after animal control. Any else have a thought?

Does anyone have information on the tower/antenna that was located at Hopkins Sheraton hotel? It's been torn down and if not mistaken, the antenna was on the roof of that building. I'm wondering if it was removed from service, or relocated, and where that location is.

Is it conceivable that Case only has portable radios? You'll hear an entire shift and the officers are clearly mobile and in buildings, but only on one Radio ID the entire day.
Not trying to hijack the post I know this message is over two years old lol but I have friends that work with CWRUPD, some have in car radios (roadbosses) while patrol officers have their portables you’ll mainly hear their callouts (directives) at night parking lot checks building checks etc. hope that helps sorry I’m late to the party haha
