Heard Unknown on 155.37 in Tulsa

Last night I caught either Creek SO, or Sapulpa PD on (155.37) I didn't get the chance to switch over and catch a tone. Whoever it was said something about 49th West Ave and going en route to a trunking company. Has anyone heard any agency here in the Tulsa area on this frequency? Can any of you program it in and monitor for awhile and see if you hear anything? The transmisson had a data burst with it. That made me think that it was possibly Creek SO? Any ideas?

It's probably Kiefer PD on that (155.370) frequency. The police & fire use that sometimes.

I bet you guys are right. I think it might be Kiefer? However, does Kiefer have JD in the 49th West Ave area? Isn't that CCSO?

That would depend where in 49 West Ave you are talking about wouldn't it PJ? But 49th West Ave runs right through Kiefer.

You don't have to be an expert and that's too bad that you took it as critical statement. It wasn't. However, as someone who listens to a scanner for a hobby, surely you understand the importants of "cross streets"? Saying you heard something on 49th W. Ave. is no different than saying you heard something on Sheridan or Memorial and you were wondering which agency it was. Depending on your location, you could be in Tulsa, you could be in Bixby, you could be in Liberty, or numerous other places.

It's got nothing to do with west side streets. It's got everything to do with cross streets.

Sorry if I came off as offended. I really don't know the West side as well as everywhere else here in Tulsa. As far as I know 49th West Ave is West Tulsa and parts of Creek County but I honestly didn't know that it ran through Kiefer. Thanks for the correction and that solves my original question about 155.37 being Kiefer PD. Thanks and happy scanning....
