You need to put the east and west system on separate knob positions.
Tim :cool:
thank you…spent some time getting the radio set up like I want…east system on one knob, HCFR only on another knob, HCSO D4 main and info on another and west system on another knob. I should be good to go now!

I did get 542 and 545 on East side last night in Sarasota and both seemed to be dispatch channels.

Wow, I never realized that HCSO was only using Phase 1. I could have sworn on my SDS scanners I'd seen their TGs show Phase 2, but maybe I was wrong.
Most TG's on p25 phase 1, only ones I really noticed on phase 2 are tampa pd,usf and airport which switches back and worth

Has anyone put the request into the DB for HCFR yet? I see the EDACS system was updated yesterday with the bit about HCFR going to P25.

If not, then I can go ahead and put in the request (unless Doug is already working on it).

there are no pending Db updates for Hillsborough. The last was the note about the HCFR switchover.

What happened to Hillsborough p25, at 115pm. Talk groups went dead on radio however only working on sds100. Only TG's I hear on radio are HCSO 1,4,3.

Was listening on apx8000 nas , then nothing on fire, tpd or airport. Only TG I hear is HCSO district 4. But on scanner everything is good. And no apx isn't bricked. It's setup right. (In case you ask)

Overheard a few Hillsborough County Fire transmissions on the P25 System while while visiting family. TGID 10572 appears to be a Dispatch channel as it had the synthetic Samantha voice asking a Engine to respond to a call. TGID 10542 also appears to be a dispatch channel as this one had a dispatcher(?) follow up after the transmission on 10572 to confirm if the Engine was responding to the call in Riverview.

I also heard a few transmissions on TGID 10545 but was unable to fully understand them or their context.

Hopefully we can get these added to the DB someday with a description?

I believe University of Tampa PD is operating on TGID 11351 as well.

Edit: Confirmed TGID: 11351 is their Dispatch Channel. Submitted the request to DB Admin.

Possible on p25 they are using same tg from edacs just adding a 10 or a 1? Example edacs 542 p25 10542 hcfr disp. Plant city edacs 1153 p25 11153 for PD disp. County using a 10 and other cities using a 1?

10xxx is for TGs that only had three digits (e.g. 542 -> 10542). It's 1xxxx if the matching EDACS TG had four digits (e.g. 1057 -> 11057).
Someone I know was asking about that. Him and myself will plug the 10 and 1 from edacs to p25. Not sure if the sch buses will have area channels 1-9 on west and 10-18 on east.
