I had a chance to run the Analyze Mode on a couple of the Fisher System 119 sites on the Hualapai reservation.

101 -Gray Mountain
102 -Grand Canyon West

I don't believe its part of the Fisher system:
  1. The system ID reports as 77 (not 119), on the sites noted above. Traffic is on the reported TGs with comms related to Skywalk.
  2. Hualapai tribe has a YG Industrial/Business Pool, Trunked system license for those freqs (WQUR405) and sites
  3. Fisher system does not.

We may have to add this as its own system.

I've noticed that before. I was curious why it was submitted as Fisher wireless instead of Hualapai Tribe.

What are the frequencies for both sites? I live near enough I should be able to pick them up.

John,

Would you please submit all the tech data for this system. I will see about creating it. If it's on Fisher Wireless, I'll get it removed from there.

Thanks,

Here's what's licensed .....

463.2000 GC West
463.2125 GC West dupe w/Gray Mtn
463.3125 GC West dupe w/Gray Mtn
463.3750 GC West
463.4125 GC West dupe w/Gray Mtn
463.6250 GC West

463.2125 Gray Mtn
463.3125 Gray Mtn
463.4125 Gray Mtn

Best guess is a couple of 3 freq sites.

And other oddity

Using BCD436HP on custom search:

463.3125 = Sys 119, Site 101, cc1
463.6250 = Sys 119, Site 102, cc1

Using Analyze>System Status:

Gray Mtn = Sys 077, Site 101, cc1 (assuming 463.3125)
GC West = Sys 077, Site 102, cc1 (assuming 463.6250)

Using Trunk Discovery on Site 101:

Finding low number TG as expected, but logged a 119######## which is typical of the Fisher system talk groups.

I can see why it was reported as Fisher; maybe Hualapai Tribe is linked to Fisher?

DHAS12, can you verify?

Jury is still out

So I posted a question in the Uniden forum. Appears there's a bug.

The '77' I'm seeing is the hex number. That is the same value as '119' in decimal. I ran it agaise a known site (Squaw Peak 76) and it also shows '77'.( Before you ask, changing settings from hex to dec didn't help.)

And .... I'm hearing the Hualapai TGs on the Mt Elden site 70.

So I guess it IS a Fisher system, just licensed to the Tribe.

Uniden says System Status is fixed hex, and Custom Search is fixed decimal. (fixed meaning set to that in firmware and cannot be changed)

So there you go..

Are you able to run DSD+ against it ?

I can run it against the sites local to my qth, but not on the road.

Local sites report 119 on DSD+; same sites report '77h' on the '436 in analyse mode and 119 in search mode.

Conversion app says 77h = 119d
