Hi I will be going to Creationfest this year and was wondering what I can listen to in the area. Are police encrypted except for normal traffic or are police encrypted full time.

Taking a look at the database I'm seeing a partially-encrypted county dispatch channel (as denoted by lowercase "e" in P25e) and two analog conventionals. Looks like the analogs may be exclusive to the Borough of Huntingdon?

The database is only as accurate as the people contributing.

KGE268 expires in a couple of months. KNDQ382 has 3 pages of frequencies, both VHF and UHF with multiple emission types listed. I think it's safe to say that things have probably changed.

I combed through the licenses for Huntingdon County and came up with the below... 458.5125 and 458.7125 are what I would look at for possible law tac channels since they don't seem to be otherwise assigned and of course the current use of 155.190 and 155.490 is a mystery as well. If anyone in the area can plug in 155.190, 155.490, 458.5125, 458.7125, 159.0375, 155.9025, 453.1875, and 458.1875 as well as the EBT-related frequencies at the bottom of the list to confirm any tone and/or NAC it would be very helpful to us all.

Back when they county was switching from lowband it was said that Law Enforcement would be encrypted. But there is still a lot of traffic on 453.56250 HC Police that is in the clear. I don't get to monitor Huntington County that often but the few times I have traffic on there was in the clear.

The main police channel is encrypted from the cars. Time to time you can hear county in the clear. As far as off-system channels, I don't think they use any others.
