it appears that all of NC has been rebranded now

According to the database there are over a dozen or so sites that have yet to be rebanded. Most are in Wake, Orange counties. I think I saw one in Cumberland Co. also....I am waiting for all of them to be rebanded before I make any more changes to my freescan file....

The database is only updated when submissions are entered. If you are in range of a VIPER site, run Trunk88 or UniTrunker and see if the site and its neighbors are rebanded. I know some of the remote sites are going to be harder to hear as there are few people with scanners in the remote parts of the states. I'm sure those in the know will chime in when rebanding is completed 100% and we can clean up any stragglers. My guess is that Wake will be the last site to be rebanded considering the complexity of programming and aligning a multi-site simulcast.

I live in Graham NC I have a Home Patrol-1 Uniden Scanner set it up worked fine for a few months now then out of nowhere it stopped picking up Graham PD Alamance County Sheriffs Mebane all of the local chanels? i thought i needed a update on the soft ware so i updated it and still nothing? i have checked and re-checked this over and over again nothing seems to help is there a change over going on? anyone out there know what to do is there a problem with the unit or the C-Com system in this area?

I would go under the assumption that Vance & Granville have been rebanded.
If so you would need to to enter the new site frequencies plus rebanded tables as indicated in the first post in this thread.
I will check on these sites status and try to get the database info updated as soon
as time allows.

It was posted that "VIPER is going through the rebanding process right now. The short of it is, due to Nextel interference in the adjacent band, all public safety systems in the 866-868 spectrum are being reallocated 15 MHz lower."

I get the fact that VIPER is going through a rebanding process. I am an owner of a Home Patrol-1 (HP1) and VIPER is on my favorites list. But obviously because of the rebanding, I am not getting any transmissions coming over the radio.

Two quick questions:

1. Once the rebanding is finished, is RR going to republish the new VIPER frequencies?
2. If VIPER is republished with the new frequencies on RR, do I have to create a new favorites list so that it will be picked up in my weekly HP1 update and downloaded properly to the HP1 unit? Or will the replacement be automatic once I do a HP-1 update (once all the rebanding frequencies are in place)?

"New VIPER frequencies" are "published" as soon as someone that has confirmed hearing them submits them through using the "submit" button in the database section. VIPER updates, as well as all of the database, rely on users to submit confirmed info.

I have never used an HP1 so I will leave that to someone that has, as opposed to making uneducated assumptions and making myself look stupid.
