Having some problem with getting twc tower back up,they have the following listed on site. Expired wqin691 9/23/08 special temp authorization.will keep working on it
The viper techs are taliking on twc tower,seem to be back up and running,so thats it for cumberland co reband folks.
FOR PEOPLE IN AREA THE FOLLOWING SITES HAVE BEEN REBANDED WHICH COVER THE AREAS IN WHICH I MONITOR.

I have a Grecom PSR 500 Scanner . I changed the control freqs. is that all I have to do? If not what else do I need to do. I am getting Sheriff Dept, Graham Pd ,EMS but haven't heard anything from Mebane PD. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have put the rebanded frequencies in my 996T. Now I hear ZERO traffic. I don't know what gives...
You have to put in the custom tables as well. Read the first post and that will give you all the details.
I did all of that with the same results. Then, I took the list of all rebanded CCs in NC, and put them in manually. Same results. However, if I hold the scanner on one of the other Kitty Hawk site's frequencies, I can hear traffic..... I always thought all you needed was the CC, and the scanner would figure out the rest? Now what I am going to do is put in all freqs for Kitty Hawk, and I'm betting it will work.

Okay, I have done the custom bandplan deal, along with all new control channels. Now it is jumping between 852.1500 and NFM. My control channel is 853.4375.

If it's hopping back to a non-control channel frequency in your list, delete it. It could be RFI from some electronics at your home or it could be another station that's coming in from band enhancements.
Try just leaving only the CC in, after that if it does not work, post your file up on the board and we can look over it.
