Java program to decode DMR

I tried finding this but no-luck

Can I use a bcd996xt for the data feed to get DMRDecode to work?? I'm sure this has been answered but I did not see where. Thanks.

With a discriminator tap you can use any scanner. Otherwise you need a SDR dongle
