Could it be because Kent Simulcast has 700Mhz voice channels? I don’t believe your scanner picks up those.

The PRO-96 doesn't, for sure. Not familiar with the other two.
Strange! TG 13498 used to be in the RRDB as 41CARN (North car to car). It showed up on my log today and I couldn't remember what it was. Searched RRDB and it does not exist yet it is being used. The other day 13780 and 13782 showed up in RRDB as new talkgroups for Newaygo County. They already exist in Ottawa County with completely different alpha tags.

Kent Co only has 1 car to car. The other car 2 cars are not being used, and were reused.
Bergg... check what firmware you have in the 396T. Hopefully its 3.02.02 last firmware it ever had. If not, you'll need to do the update which is isnt that fun, but at least only have to do it once.

Not that it really matters since they are DE but, which one are they using? Originally there were five, 13497,13498,13499,13500, and 13501 for countywide, North, central, East, and South. The only one currently in the RRDB is 13497 (41CARCW) - countywide. I logged 13498 (deleted from RRDB) more than 40 times yesterday just after 17:00. I didn't hear or record them. Radio id's 10414730 & 41414499. I wonder who 13498 is.

We put that back into the pool for MPSCS to reissue.

It's not part of the county operation... if it's a 1041 ID, it's either the GRR Airport the GRCC College. Those are the only others with 1041 IDs issued for the new system - outside of the City of GR...

So has police completely moved over to the new system or are they split like fire currently is? I still have yet to see a mobile radio ID on any fire talkgroup. I did see in the last meeting that the 800 paging won't be used until later in the year.
13501, Which supposedly was 41CARS and is no longer in RRDB was very active this afternoon between 13:21 and 13:31. I just saw it on my log, I didn't hear or record it. Sure would like to know who is using it. All Kent County radio id's.

All law portables are in use. Mobiles are being installed and will take many weeks... VHF patch still active. Fire mobiles will start a June install, but all fire has portables...

GRPD F3 is not on VHF this evening. It is coming up ENC on digital.

Would it be correct to assume that GRPD F3 (North - was 155.790) will be encoded and un monitorable from now on?

They are probably using 700 too, since 8 of their channels are 700 Mhz. 
So with the new system and going full DE unless you enjoy fire, EMS and public works there is not much to listen to anymore. I am I missing something? Is my 436HP a boat anchor now? lol
