LCSO Dispatch seems encrypted some cars are not. Airport PD Dispatch is clear units are encrypted. My findings so far.

Any updates on this?

All LCSO is encrypted. APD is also encrypted both sides except for. APD-4 which is used by their Security Specialists on the curb as well as all FD Comms are in the clear. Regarding the SO sometimes you may hear a unit not sure if encryption was dropped or programming issue comes up.

What are these new LCCS talkgroups and why are they back as "Lee County Court Security"? Wasn't this labeled as Lee County Charter Schools before? And why are they still tagged as "Schools"? Seems fishy..

Yup, I haven't gotten any traffic so I can't confirm encryption.. but all the main dispatch/tac channels are full DE and so are jail/CORE talkgroups. I can't confirm for Traffic or Command.. and I'm still trying to figure out what the CIVIL talkgroup under LCSO is for.. is this for the CSAs (Community Service Aide)?

ohhh lol.. so what's the talkgroup for the CSA's? Been looking for a while.. can't seem to find it. Do you think they sit on the normal LE talkgroups? I reckon they have their own talkgroup..

They normally ride on the main channel for the district they are assigned to cover.

there was an issue with the migration of the TGs during an update to the Lee County system. Keep in mind, that we do not change data without a submission. Submissions are just that - data.... sometimes it's inaccurate - especially on systems with heavy encryption. I will go back in and look at the data later today and update the tags.

Does anyone know what the "EM" units are? Just had "EM-4" transmit a DAV on LCFD Dispatch 1. Judging from the transmissions, I am assuming they do not normally operate on the LCFD channels, but possibly the several EM channels (EM-1, EM-2, etc) that are in that list of TGs that Larry has?

Oh, interesting! Does Emergency Management patrol the streets..? I've never heard them on the LCFD TGs, nonetheless alerting Lee Control of a disabled vehicle..

Also, does anyone know what the color conditions for LCEMS is? Occasionally they will call "Lee County EMS is condition red, or yellow or etc - does anyone know what this means?

Hi all, seems no new updates.

I am just discovering now that CFR-3 (crash fire rescue channel 3) is full ENCRY, which to me seems suspicious as it is the only FD channel in the county that is encrypted. I am currently seeing that there are many active transmissions and the channel appears to be quite active. Could this be some sort of investigations channel??
