I'm going to add it to my favorites list for Lee County Port Authority and give a listen. I'll let you know what I find out.

Thanks Larry, looking forward to hearing about your findings. I was seeing that the CFR-3 transmissions were only coming from 2 different RID's and seemed to be quite lengthy. Keep us posted!

I have added that talk group to my RSW favorites list. Listening only to their talk groups. I have heard nothing on the CFR three talk group What type group ID are you using? The one that was on the list that I supplied? Let me know I’ll continue to monitor and see if anything else comes to fruition.

yeah no, the CFR talkgroups don’t get much traffic besides CFR-1, which is the main dispatch channel. I am using the CFR-3 talkgroup in your list, yes. I had just switched my radio over to RSW just to see what was popping and stumbled over encrypted traffic- quite strange.

Hi all,

Just submitted some updates for new talkgroups, including some new categories and two new LCFD tac channels. Hope that helps!

Hi all,

I've just organized the talkgroups in numerical order, from least to greatest in Google Sheets. The PDF has been attached.

I will be posting a view-only Google Sheet soon of all the talkgroups, along with known usages, grouped together in this thread sooner tonight. This is from the full list of talkgroups that was obtained in mid-2022.

Happy scanning!

Hi all,

Is anyone seeing a control patch between DISP-1, DISP-2, DISP-3 and ALERT-1, ALERT-2, ALERT-3? This is all on the Lee Control system.. a little confused as to why LC is patched on these three talkgroups. Not hearing units, just Lee Control. I thought these were used for airport alerts?

Possible could be announcements for bolo or a major call? One county I lived at had that setup. Seems more of agencies are doing that instead of repeating the info on certain channels if not patched.

Comment from 1,000 miles away. If are just hearing the dispatcher it's probably multselect (MSEL) and not a patch.

Its just random traffic, so doesn't seem major..

It's not on multi-select.. so not sure

great post --- but. I want everyone to understand. RR does not feed the RR dB with forum posts. when logs are verified and / or submitted - they are put in the dB.

Additionally, I have stumbled across wiki pages here that compile talkgroup and related info, so when things get so spread out, it becomes difficult to piece together. Something to consider.

Anyone know what "FDMD" is? Just had a unit key up on Lee Control's DISP-3 regarding a disabled vehicle, using the callsign "FDMD-1" around 20:21 7/20/2023.. radio ID was 6810022, not typical to see on the lee county system. Any suggestions?

I want to say that the LCAS talkgroups are out of use as they get ZERO traffic whatsoever.. can anyone confirm they are still in use?
