Sounds like every county is doing that put a site just for air crafts.
I can believe that.
it works well for counties that have multiple towers.
Polk was having trouble at first with their aircraft hitting multiple towers.
Once they switched to the 700mhz it all cleared up.

Hillsborough County has a site 40 that I've never heard any traffic on but I'm not in Hills very often and can monitor site 40.
So I'm just guessing it might be for AC.

I am visiting Fort Myers Beach in the next week and I want to know if FMBFD is on North or South Dispatch after countless of researching without finding anything back. I'm also bringing my Unication G5 as well as my SDS100.

There is only one dispatch for the entire Lee County now, and it's the former EMS Dispatch tgid. FMBFD operates calls on the south channel.
