Been Licensed for a long time recently lost interest Technician.
I dont upgrade since HF sounds like a cb club lately.
Fm sounds clear ,and I dont have to tune it in!

Extra since... weekend before last! (Still hasn't shown up on this site, but it's on qrz.com. That, and one of the VE's shook my hand, said 'congratulations,' and reminded me to use '/AG' for a few weeks.)

General in August of 2013. I'll be going for my extra in the summer when I've got more time. I'm starting to get ancy about not having the whole spectrum because there are a lot of good DX contacts in the portions I'm not allowed in.

Might go Tech again at some point, either this year or next; we'll see. It's kind of a low priority at present.

If you're still within the two year grace period you can renew without re-taking the test. If your license has been expired for over two years, you'll have to take the exam again.

My license progression was Tech in January 2011, General in June of 2011 and Extra in June of 2012.

Ummmm.... I am not real good at math, but...

If his license expired in 2011 and since it is currently (hang on, let me check my calendar) 2014, I am pretty sure that he is past the two year grace period.... but I could be wrong!
