I was only in Canaan. Didn't drive down 44 this time. Next time! Where my folks live in Berkshire County, I can hear a whole lot of Litchfield County there, including Winstead and Torrington. I just don't really listen to fire much these days, too many medical calls.
I was just on top of church hill yesterday! Beware of the cow

Granby was using that pl before the State issued their mandatory EMS radio template that put that channel on 156.7 in every EMS vehicle in the state. Typically, only medics in the high point of Litchfield will trip the Granby repeater. At one point they wanted to put the LCD radio higher up but fortunately, it has not happened. Hopefully it will not grow for the next 2 years.

143 PD dispatch will remain in the clear, PD2 will be secure.
Winchester operating full time on CLMRN with PD 1&2 secure, PD 3 clear
Torrington FD operating a mixture of VHF conventional and CLMRN
Trinity operating on the Marcus system, communicating with LCD over med tac 12

Any other questions?
is this the med tac 12

You don't remember when they first went P25, there was a statement from (I believe now) the previous Police Chief stating they were hoping for encryption on the new system. I thought they had used it for a very short time as well. Again this was many years ago, back when they were on that 151 frequency. We'll have to see, as things have changed a bunch since then, and perhaps I am wrong about the encryption thing. And, yes I know you're a local, which is why I will defer to you on the encryption thing.
But do you remember when they went NXDN? 😂 what a disaster

Sorry, I just skim over them as I know what they are. TAC 1-4 are the same channels as Tac 11-14, the extra digit was probably from before the Med channels were extended beyond 10. The old EMS radio standard for CT has them both ways
