Lots of activity on 14002 and 14021 today on Hamilton..

RID's for 14002 all last active today 600002/05/07/12/14/15/38/46/51
RID's for 14021 also all last active today 600003/08/17/19/20/25

And still no overlap of the RID's between the talkgroups either. I do see in my logs that usage on 14002 and 21 sometimes have long gaps of no transmissions in-between. I do them being used during the day in clumps of usage as well into the afternoon and evening. Maybe it's some type of investigations channel?

I see 14002 being used today in my logs to almost 8pm.

Matt

Agree on activity level. 10am to about 4pm today, 14002 was busy on Pontypool - 350 discrete transmissions.
RID 600002, 600005, 600012, 600014, 600015, 600046, 600053,

Here's my log. I stripped out MTO traffic and various useless log messages.

I started checking Unitrunker to see when some of the FleetNet encrypted comms were last used. MoF appears to have dropped off FleetNet. The number of users I've logged on 14001 and 14002 kinda matches the number I had logged on FleetNet for them in the past couple months. This could be it.

What VA3DBJ said is hospital patches have moved and I can confirm that I do not see Oshawa TAC activity on FleetNet, which is where the patches are done for the Mobile.

I'm not seeing any Tac activity either. But, I'm not seeing anything that indicates it being on LMRN either... landline for updates for now, perhaps?

Looks like Oshawa TAC channels are back in operation with hospital patches on FleetNet this morning.

I am getting the same this morning. The VR's are back in non-encryption as well. My logs only showed 5 units working on the new system yesterday until midnight. Maybe just testing things out. So far today, just MTO traffic, but 2 of the EMS units from yesterday, had affiliation requests accepted, so far.

The 14xxx TG are not EMS. One clue on maybe identifying them is the fact they seem mostly to be active in the GTA area. Another possible clue is the relatively small number of RIDS all grouped in the 600xxx range. The towers they are active on may also help. I was thinking CBSA????

Hey Gary, couple posts up my theory is MOF as they seem to have dropped off FleetNet and have a comparable number of users.

I saw a bunch of testing this morning off the Sarnia tower. I'm thinking in the next day or so they are going to switch Wallaceburg CACC over.

21041 Lambton EMS
21042 Chatham EMS
24386
24387
24388
24389
the 24xxx are hospital groups

Off the Essex site I have these 3 hospital groups have been getting patched

Looks like Wallaceburg CACC has changed over. Seeing 21042 (Wallbrg C-K) chatty off the Chatham site
Also seeing TG 24400 used by the same EMS radio ID range, so maybe a hospital patch or something?

Odd thing is Lambton is still on FleetNet. Haven't seen any activity off of Sarnia site other than MTO road crews today

It is looking like there is a single Patch TG for each hospital. Muxlow's post #412 shows 4 hospitals in the Windsor area and 3 in Sarnia. Does anyone remember which hospitals were patched in those areas? We should also make a note of which hospitals we hear patched on the current TG this may become useful later.

I'm here a lot
In Windsor, it would be; Grace, Metropolitan and Oullette Hospitals. For Sarnia area; General and Petrolia.

I'm still getting everything in the clear here in Chatham over FleetNet...

Even more interesting--I was able to pick up a transmission on 21042 earlier tonight that was completely in the clear. *shrugs*

Oddly enough, I'm not hearing any pages on 149.440... Don't tell me THAT went encrypted too!

I am not hearing anything now--no OPP nor MOH on FleetNet in Chatham.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted...

Maybe keep an eye on private calls or call alerts on the new system. Durham uses private calls for station paging on FleetNet so maybe that's a model everyone is going to?

I do see PAGE on Unitrunker, then a hospital talkgroup is active and the medic unit starts to talk. On DSD+ side its just a patch.
