Is your 7000 UHF 2 alsoI was able to program my Motorola APX 7000 using NAS for the new Phase II TDMA system using the ID's above and it works beautiful. I have BLUE-8 and Aero Burueau programmed in a scanlist. That's it for now. Love the Digitial P25. I just programmed in the SOUTH 700mhz Simulcast system which I know that works in my area.
If you are using the 700 mhz sites use the first 4 ID's above 00-03
If you are using the UHF-2 Sites then you ID's above 04-13
If you have a dual band 700/800/UHF-2 then use all of the ID's above
Is your 7000 UHF 2 also
And a new UHF site, Site 60 is being advertised. Maybe Burnt Peak UHF based on the numbering scheme in use? I see it currently licensed at Baldwin Hills, Rio Hondo, and Blue Ridge. (As always, subject to change)
478.81250MHz is the primary CC
Stay tuned...

The dual band infrastructure dates back from when the t-band was supposed to go away. LARICS would be the only system in the region with alternative spectrum if the t-band was to be vacated and auctioned off by the FCC. The system was built to have equal coverage and capacity on UHF (Phase 1 and 2) and 700 (Phase 2 only).I am not sure why LA-RICS is a mixture of 700/UHF-2 bands for their system. There must be a logical and technical reason for it. Maybe somebody can chime and and answer this question
Do you have a file you can share for this set up LA RICS so I can create a file going to get a radio wants start setting up,,,thanks if you don't mind,,,robertpatin310@gmail.com
Not sure if you guys saw this update on the LA-RICS Twitter feed today, " We are excited to announce the first LA-RICS sub-system, the "Narrowband Mobile Data Network" (NMDN), successfully went live last Thursday, and we cutover users to the system!! NMDN is now being used by the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD)"..." LACoFD is primarily using the NMDN system to dispatch emergency call alerts and incident information from their CAD to all the fire stations and vehicles. "
I think eventually, all of the LASD L-Tacs and A-Tacs will be ENC, sadly.
