So I just heard LASD dispatch 6 for San Dimas in the clear on RICS while scanning the East Simulcast 470MHz site - unit went code 9 and the patch was open; not sure if that had anything to do with it, but regardless I'm so glad to see Luna has kept the dispatch TGs in the clear.

I haven't heard any other station. Anybody else here anything?
Yup I'm picking them up on the south site DISPATCH 6

Seems to be random DISPATCH CH on san Dimas channel also hearing DISPATCH 13,,14 on San Dimas freq
Yeah sometimes SCC will have one dispatcher working several stations throughout the county. My situation earlier was a Pico Rivera unit but I was hearing it on SD/Walnut. Glad to hear this though, man!

I can say the ANALOG is clearer than the DIGITIAL
But sounds good on my APX7000

That's funny you say that. I thought the same thing. I wonder if they're still tweaking some of the settings as far as audio quality goes because it did sound like crap. My SDS100 was claiming zero digital decoding errors, too, so it's not likely to get any better!

I can't wait until we can hear Palmdale and Lancaster calls - stuff is crazy up there! Can you confirm that you're hearing LASD dispatch without the busy tone? The ONE time I've heard anything the patch was open so I don't know how normal comms are going to sound...

Some of the sites listed in the RRDB LA-RICS section read, "Simulcast". Does that mean there could be reception issues related to that with scanners other than the SDS series? Also, I am located in the NW San Fernando Valley. Which site might be the best for me to monitor?
