Lost freqs!

I would suggest to program them in again.
Their still programmed in,I've probably hit a button and lost what bank (think that's what it's called) their in.
Forgot to ask how to set to on again.

On a Pro-197 you don't have banks. You have scan lists. Pressing buttons 1 thru 0 on the keypad toggle scan lists 1 thru 10 on and off. Pressing the function button and then 1 thru 0 toggle scan lists 11 thru 20 on and off.

Ok ive owned 8 pro-197's ive not ever had the issue im now going through im getting with my now only 197 left it shall work in my car for 1-3 days then it craps all out this is the message I know am getting! For LIKE the 10th time and where my scanners mounted this is a very tough place to get those bracket screws out as well too so van you provide to me why this is happening to only this scanner, and no other scanners, ive had nor sold prior to?????

HERE IS THE TROUBLE AND WHY I AM BACK FOR MORE HELP, MY RADIO SHACK SCANNER MODEL PRO-197 AND THIS IS MY FULL, STORY, THE MEMORY KEEP DISAPPEARING FROM IT AFTER 1-8 DAYS OF SITTING STILL, NOT GOING FROM ITS SPOT AT EVER AT ALL!,,,,,HERE'S MY QUESTION????? What is the power source for the radio? Sometimes that can cause strange issues like you are seeing.

is it actually losing the memory , or just forgetting that scan lists are enabled . Try just re-enabling the scan list from the keypad. Also you could add your programing to virtual scanner to make re-loading easy from just the keypad .
