I think he is talking about BRPD and City-Parish. I live near Baton Rouge, but I haven't heard anything in regards to the switch even though, there has been talk about it.

I'm in EBR. Haven't heard about the City going 700 yet. I just turned on 800 and their still using it.

They are doing simulcasting, dispatching on both 800 and 700 systems. I talked to my wife, she is retired from BRPD. She told me when they switched from the 155 MHZ system to 800, they were utilizing both systems until they had all of their units switched over. I have heard them on both.

I remember the old 155 days. My cousin that worked there used to call me to find out what F4 was.

Hearing this TG doing business in Rayne. Sounds like marshall business or probation but not really sure. Anyone?

I was doing an ID search the other night and pick up traffic on tg 20005. They mentioned a traffic stop around I-12 and Juban Road here in Livingston Parish can anyone tell me who is on that particular tg?
Many thanks,

I would say it's either Denham PD or LPSO it would be too far west to be Walker. Did you get a unit number?

I wasn't LPSO, I talked to my son-in-law today. He told that they are still using the 460 system. However the SWAT has been using the LWIN but, he informed me the SWAT channels were encrypted. I also heard some traffic on tg 35547, they have a unit enroute to a crash at a dirt track. I am thinking it may be TPSO?

Yep LPSO is still on 460 I listen to them everyday. I've heard a few units on 700 but I don't really listen to them on 700. DSPD has a few 700 radios.
Sounds like something in Tangi you heard on 35547 that's right in there with them.
